Kris hired my company (HSC Carpentry) as a subtrade earlier this year to build him a custom set of stairs & and handrails. He was very good with his communication, organization, and incredibly helpful in many ways as well! I first heard about his company through a friend, and I was told he was very trustworthy and overall a great company to work for. Since then, I've only heard and experienced great things. Expectations Exceeded - Great Job. Think Renovations completed the major renovation of our Gordon Head home including: the kitchen, laundry room and living area. Everyone on the team was pleasant, polite and accommodated our needs. The standard of work was amazing. From our designer: Jillian, the electricians, painters, drywallers and our cabinetry person: Jordan as well as Sam & Kris who project managing this tranformation, played their part in its successful completion, despite the very tight timelines set by us. Think renovation did an amazing job on our back deck.  Kris is a perfectionist so there was nothing overlooked.  The finished deck exceeded our expectations! We hired Think a little over a year ago to renovate our garage into a home office / workout space as well as our laundry room. With a second kiddo on the way, the old bedroom I was using as an office needed to go to the baby! Kris showed up and had some great recommendations on how we could transform the space. His partner Sam was also super helpful in regards to coordinating some built in cabinets, new doors and some other things. The lead on the job Nathan was awesome too. Super nice guy, worked his butt off (he was at our place for easily 9 to 10 hours a day). He's an amazing carpenter and repurposed a bunch of demoed wood into additional shelving. The quality of the work they did was great! We love the space and it has totally transformed a useless waste of garage space to a really swanky space in our house. And even a year later - Sam still checks in every once in awhile to make sure the work is still holding strong (which it is). The only snare we really hit was with the electrical company they used (was a very pricey electrical bill that surprised us) but that wasn't on Think's end at all. On the contrary they actually tried to throw their weight a bit to get some stuff sorted out with them which I really appreciated. As for costs - given we had a surprise flooring issue that needed to be addressed out of scope and some weather setbacks that tagged on a few extra days - we came at around 20% over the estimate which is almost exactly what Sam and Kris quoted. They also ended up sending us some money back because they accidentally overcharged us which they absolutely could have pocketed and we wouldn't have been the wiser! All in all, Think treated us well and we will 100% use them again for an inevitable kitchen Reno.
